We created Lip Veil to support Space For Giants, a remarkably innovative conservation team working to preserve the safety of elephants in Africa—

Sourced from the ancient African Baobab tree, nicknamed ‘The Tree of Life’ for its multiple uses, the Baobab oil in Lip Veil’s silky formula gives it a rich, nourishing sheen. We’ve partnered with a sustainable, FairWild-certified producer in Zimbabwe that employs local farmers and harvesters (80% are women!) to provide them with an independent source of income.

They also need protection from poaching, and from the expanding human populations and developing economic growth in Africa that is encroaching on their habitat. Space For Giants has taken a strong, determined stance on eliminating poaching from the African plains while also working to protect the elephants ancient migration
paths across the continent. Their work in creating cross-boundary agreements amongst African countries and strong judicial anti-poaching regulations will ensure that elephants can continue to live naturally and free, continuing their age-old ritual of migration.
